Year 5 Perth Camp 2021
Our campers have arrived in Perth safely. A stop at Cervantes was followed by a great afternoon at AQWA. Once settled in the Swan Valley Adventure Centre students enjoyed the team games and the flying fox before dinner.
First up for our campers this morning was a visit to Scitech. Next it was off to Parliament House where students were greeted by Lara Dalton and Sandra Carr. After lunch, the campers had a tour of Fremantle Prison and dinner at Cicerellos. To end the day, the Year 5's had fun playing 18 holes of glow in the dark mini golf to round off an action-packed day!
Today students visited the Maritime Museum in Fremantle. Afterwards, they went to the Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre with students learning about wetlands, ecology, finding crazy critters with scoop nets and a lakeside walk. To wrap up the day, the Year 5's want crazy at Lazertag!
Today students explored Boola Bardip discovering many amazing facts. The visit coincided with the Welcome to Country for the Reconciliation Week Walk for Reconciliation. Before dinner students had another opportunity to soar into the air on the Flying Fox and taking part in team-building games at Swan Valley Adventure Centre. After dinner campers snuggling up around a campfire and toasting marshmallows.
The last stop on our camp was the Gravity Discovery Centre in Gingin on the way back to Geraldton. It was out of this world!
